New refrigerator.

With turkey day coming, momma decided the family needed a working refrigerator back in garage. So late last week some time she I went shopping and picked this one out. And now with lots of turkey left overs for days, my beer supply is once again near by after a long two years. I am a happy beer consumer, doesn't every guy have his refrigerator at the foot of his bed?-:)

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!

The Last Revision.

I have no idea who wrote this, but while I was sorting out files for school I stumbled across this, and had to share It. This is a big laugh.

The Last Revision

The Draftsman and the Engineer are men of skill and vision,
At least they are until they hear,
That hated word -- REVISION.

The Engineer with practiced eye,
Surveys his grand design,
The
Draftsman draws so expertly,
Each complicated line.

Complete! They sign contentedly,
"Miraculous Precision!"
Oh Optimists! Tomorrow Brings,
Catastrophe! -- REVISION.

Revsion one, adds this new piece,
Revision two, improves it.
Revsion three, makes it just right,
Then number four, removes it.

"You can't do this," "You can't do that,"
We'll wait for a decision,
"But in the meantime, just revise,
That last revised -- REVISION."

Revise! Revise! The very word,
Fills engineers with dread.
Tho' die they must, they'll be revised,
To make damn sure they're dead.

They hope that God's no Engineer
When he makes his decision,
If once thy win their wings they hope,
There'll be no last -- REVISION.

So I' m not a blog junkie yet.

So I' m not a junkie yet. I've been very busy with college and family, so if you can, give me some slack. And anther thing, If you check out my website in the last six months you may have seen that nothing has changed sine April of this year. Eleven weeks of education ate up the playing with the website time. You'll be glad to know that I have some time off. Therefore in the last week I've made some changes Nothing fancy. I added some new stuff, and I tried to clean up some typos.

Yes I know watch the news and bloging would be a snap, but if I did that just to have something to write about, the name of this page would go from my blog to here's what I want to bitch about today. Nope not going to happen here, I shell strive for happy blogs only. I will blog again soon, Or more than every three months at least.

My Birthday.

It's my birthday and I normally treat it just like any other day, but about six years ago or more I looked in the mirror and saw that I was starting to go balled. It’s this fact that forces me to let this day pass by with little thought on my part. Some how I managed to let the thought of being completely balled by the age of fifty and at my currant rate of down hill baldness, it will happen with no doubt.

Three Birthdays On One Day.

At some point in early February the family decided, since my nephew and I have birthdays close together we all should go to the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum. I was all for it and my nephew said, “cool yea lets go”. He has a friend with a birthday close to his, so with two cars off we went.

Once we were all unloaded I managed to snap a couple pictures of a cool looking car that was right out front of the museum. I don’t think the museum had the car on display because it was gone when the family and I were leaving, so to who ever owns it great job on the paint and all the other work done.

Although me older sister hijacked my camera for most of the time that we were there, in fact she snagged it almost when got in the door. I did manage to take some pictures before we left. I believe we all clicked out about 100 pictures. I did put the ones I like on my photos page.

The Hughes Flying Boat, H-4, HK-1 Spruce Goose was great to look at from the out side , but I wasn't allowed to see much of the inside. It was still cool that no mater where I was in the building , every time I looked up I saw the goose.

The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress was another highlight of my day. I don't know why it is but that plane is one of my top favorites. on TV and in pictures it looks a hole lot bigger then it really is to me.

On the back right side was a small escape hatch that I stuck me head in and I saw just how small the plan was. I didn't know it at the time, it seems I spent almost an hour roaming around the plane.

After all said and done all of us agreed that the hole two and half hours was a real blast. If you like neat old planes and space stuff this museum will be a great day of fun for the family.

A Cars Road Noise.

Over the years I've been in and out of a lot of cars, and my ears have been filled with a lot of road noise. With my ears alert I believe I frond two vehicles that fit the low road noise bill. A Ham friends Nissan Altima and my older sisters Maxima are it for my ears, as specially at freeway speeds.
